Boží Dar is the highest town in Central Europe. Thanks to the excellent snow conditions, it offers ski slopes, cross-country skiing trails and the famous Ježíšek trail for winter sports enthusiasts, which you can do with your children. In addition to the snow-covered landscape that you can enjoy while skiing or doing other winter sports, you can also visit the Božydar Peat Bogs Nature Trail, which is part of the Boží dar Peat Bogs National Nature Reserve. The trail is 3.2 km long and runs along the footpaths, which ensures the safety of hikers as well as all the rare species of animals and plants that can be found here. On the trail you will come across 12 information boards that contain information about the surrounding environment and the peculiarities of the peat bog, the history of peat mining in the Erzgebirge, etc. The last stop of the trail is connected to another nature trail, the Blatenský příkop, a technical cultural monument, which is lined with 23 stops and the beautiful nature of the Ore Mountains.
